Who would have thought so many chileans go skiing on a friday morning? And how can they all have 4x4s?

Notice the cacti with snow on them in the background! I don't think I've ever seen that before.

After an hour's drive and 44 slippery curves we approached the ski centers called Farillones and El Colorado.

El Colorado is larger than any ski center I've ever seen in Norway - 26 slopes and 18 lifts!

The air got a bit thin at 3300 meters above sea level.
