Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Uganda March 2005

A gorilla mother and her child suddenly wanted to walk down the path we were standing.

The name Bwindi Impentrable forest is quite fitting. Especially when you learn that Bwindi means dark.

Could I be sweating more?

This gorilla is lying on a natural hammock in the sun, about 3 meters off the ground. They are comfortable creatures.

They are so peacful, and that despite of a bunch of strange people following them around.

This little one put on a show towards the end of our trip. It climbed this pole and sat there eating leaves at the top.
